For many generations, North Augustans have enjoyed the Hammond Hills Pool since its inception in 1960. Typically, the pool achieves an average of 350 memberships annually. Thanks to strong leadership and vision, yearly fees have been kept as low as possible, allowing the average American family to attain membership in this popular club. Our facilities have grown from just a summer destination to the place to be year-round, making the club a great way to get your name and business out to our community all year.

 

Our pool underwent major repairs and renovations in recent years, some of which were requested by the SCDHEC. The major renovation items were expanding the pool, the new Pickleball courts, additional covered pavilion areas, and updating the electrical. Including the replacement of the pool’s pump and filtration system last season, due to the damage caused by hurricane Helene. These much-needed repairs and renovations have ensured that many more generations of North Augustans and the CSRA will enjoy hot summers at the pool.

 

To continue to upgrade and complete renovation items on our project list, we need annual sponsors, including companies, volunteer organizations, and individuals in the area. We believe our members and visitors, along with our popular swim meets, represent a good promotional opportunity for local businesses and organizations. The community benefits from the growth in leadership among our young swimmers through their active roles as coaches, lifeguards, and mentors. Our members have growing families, active lifestyles, and established community ties.

 

We have structured our Sponsorship program to give our supporters more for their money. As a Sponsor, you can receive different membership packages, have a banner placed in a prominent location inside the pool fence to promote your business/organization, as well as other opportunities to be promoted throughout the year.

 

• We will provide a banner for your company, which will be displayed along the pool fence throughout the swim season. (Banners will be 3’x5’ in size. All artwork must be submitted in PNG or JPEG format to thehammondhollpool@gmail.com)

 

• Sponsors can attend physically or through marketing materials provided by your company at any of our events, such as annual cookouts, movie nights, and swim meets. Sponsors can choose to designate their donations to specific event purchases or to sponsor an entire event. This is a great opportunity to get your company in front of many families in our community!

 

• Memberships included with Sponsorships are transferable but must be opened and used during the sponsorship season. Memberships cannot be stored for a later season. If a Sponsor chooses not to utilize the membership, they can gift their membership to an individual/family, pending membership approval from the HHSC.

We want to be completely transparent and let you know where your money is going. At the HHSC, we are always needing to make repairs and address monetary needs. These are usually normal wear and tear issues that come with a well-loved facility. There are the time-to-time emergency situations that come up or large ticket priced items that need to be purchased. This is where our Sponsors' donations really help. This season we aim to add much-needed additional seating and shade areas (extra umbrellas or pavilions), upgrade both bathroom facilities, and purchase lawn maintenance equipment to be able to do our landscaping in-house which will allow us to save a portion of our annual budget on keeping the grounds looking great.
